Tonya Mah
Tonya Mah practices in the areas of corporate/commercial and real estate law. Ms. Mah’s practice includes providing opinions and advice respecting commercial financing, business and franchise law. Ms. Mah has experience in reviewing and advising clients on complex commercial financing documents, conducting various off-title searches, drafting security and related ancillary documents and perfecting lenders’ security. Ms. Mah advises clients regarding the structuring of purchase and sale transactions, and is involved in the preparation, review and negotiations in relation to financing and licensing matters. Ms. Mah is part of the Himelfarb Proszanski LLP team that represents the largest franchisee association in Canada.
Ms. Mah volunteers her time with a children’s literacy program known as Leading to Reading, in conjunction with the Toronto Public Library. Ms. Mah earned her Bachelor of Arts degree specializing in Criminology, and her LL.B., from the University of Windsor in 2004 and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2005.
