L. Leslie Dizgun
Mr. Dizgun is an experienced advocate in corporate, commercial litigation and employment law matters. Mr. Dizgun’s practice is oriented to providing effective and cost efficient solutions to business clients. He has received his Master of Laws degree in Alternative Dispute Resolution from Osgoode Hall Law School and is co-author of a book on Mediation Advocacy: Effective Client Representation. Mr. Dizgun is an Adjunct Professor at Osgoode Hall Law School of York University and has taught Civil Procedure and now teaches “Dispute Settlement” in the Civil Justice System. Mr. Dizgun has trained Superior Court Judges in effective Settlement Conference practices for the National Judicial Institute; is on the teaching faculty of the Advocates Society; and is a Vice-Chair (part-time) of the Health Services Appeal and Review Board of Ontario. Mr. Dizgun is a frequent speaker and instructor on advocacy and alternative dispute resolution topics at many continuing education programs offered by the Law Society of Upper Canada, the Ontario Bar Association, the Mediation and Arbitration Institute of Canada, The Canadian Institute and the Advocates Society. Mr. Dizgun also maintains a mediation and arbitration practice.
