Himelfarb Proszanski Supports 16th Annual Toronto Wheelchair Race The Toronto Wheelchair Relay Challenge is a public awareness and fundraising event bringing together able-bodied and disabled individuals for a fun-filled family day to support the services of the Canadian Paraplegic Association Ontario in Toronto and surrounding areas. In addition to raising funds, the Toronto Wheelchair Relay Challenge gives the community an opportunity to develop a better awareness of spinal cord injuries and wheelchair use. In 2010 the event raised over $475,000 across Ontario and has been attended by over 5000 people at 15 relays across the province.

First Annual 5K Run, Walk & Roll For The Brain Injury Society of Toronto The Brain Injury Society of Toronto (BIST) helps acquired brain injury survivors and families in the City of Toronto living with the effects of acquired brain injury through education, awareness, support and advocacy. Membership is open to anyone in the community and currently supports children, parents, teens, spouses, and grandparents.
